Biography
Rachel Freedman is a senior associate of the firm, having joined the firm in 2019. Her practice is focused on real estate, commercial, and general litigation, where she tries landlord/tenant cases and arbitrations, and sits second chair for jury and bench trials in the State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Freedman worked at a national defense litigation firm, where she focused primarily on complex civil litigation, real estate construction, personal injury, transpiration, and product liability matters.
Ms. Freedman received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, where she majored in English with a minor in History. She then obtained her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, graduating in 2014. While a law school student, Ms. Freedman took advantage of the school's clinical opportunities by interning with both the City of Philadelphia and SEPTA law departments. During law school, she also interned with the Juvenile Law Center, Judge Glynnis D. Hill, and The Beasley Firm.
In her spare time, Ms. Freedman enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, exercising, taking long walks with her border collie mix, Charlie, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers.
